Mat is a Software Test engineer and Pamela a Yoga teacher

We got married on the 9th of September 2006 and emigrated to Australia on the 6th of October 2007.  We currently live in the capital of Australia, Canberra, in a suburb called Mawson.  The exchange rate hit us badly as we emigrated with the UK economy collapsing quicker than we anticipated.  This means we have left our dosh in the UK awaiting the exchange rate to hopefully move back in our favour. All the money thing just pales into insignificance compared to the enjoyment of living here.  Within 20 minutes drive of our front door we are walking in empty mountain wilderness; fantastic!!!  Mat goes past the PM's front door on the way and from work with a 'rush hour' that lasts just fifteen minutes.
